Kebbi Govt approves N92. 2m for procurement of water treatment chemicals

Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasir Idris, has approved the sum of ninty two million and two hundred thousand Naira (N92.2m) for procurement of water treatment chemicals and soft starter installation at Dukku high lift pump.

The governor, gave the approval in his office at Government House, Birnin Kebbi, Said the procument of water treatment chemicals will reduce the suffering of the people.

He added that after the installation of a soft starter at Dukku water, all residents in Birnin Kebbi metropolis and environ will enjoy 24 hours drinking water supply.

“Supply of water is part of our campaign promises and by the special grace of God, people from the four emirates will start drinking water supply state water board.

“More of the good things that will benefit the masses are on the way, my administration is for the people, which I am ready to give them a sense of belonging,” he said.

He then implore the people of Kebbi State to builds confidence on his administration which is ready to provide dividends of democracy.
