Gwarzo Condoles late Ranka’s family described him as a seasoned local government administrator

The Deputy Governor, and Commissioner Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy, Comrade Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo has on Sunday paid a condolence visit to the family, associates, and entire people of Babeji Local Government over the demise of local council Chairman Alhaji Sani Kanti Ranka who died on Friday after a protracted illness.

The Commissioner described the late Chairman as a hardworking and devoted person who spent his life serving his community.

He said “On behalf of the Executive Governor of Kano State Engr. Abba Kabir Yusif, Ministry for Local I wish to extend my heartfelt condolences to the family, the district head, and the entire people of Babaji local government.

This is contained in a statement by Aminu Bell Sani, Public Relations Officer
Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.

The statement added that, Comrade Gwarzo, pray to Almighty Allah to grant the deceased eternal rest and make Jannatul Firdaus his final abode.

The Commissioner was accompanied by the permanent secretary Alhaji Yusuf Datti Hussain and management staff of the Ministry as well as the 44 Local Government Chairmen under the ALGON Chairman who doubles as Takai Local Government Council Chairman Alhaji Baffa Muhd Takai.

It will be recalled that the late Chairman Alhaji Sani Kanti Ranka was elected as Vice Chairman to the late Alhaji Ali Namadi Bebeji who died before swearing in as Babeji Local Government Chairman.
