Adequate security manpower presence at polling units in Kebbi

There is adequate presence of security operatives at polling units where supplementary elections are taking place today in Birnin Kebbi Local Government, Kebbi State.

Security manpower from the military, police, civil defence, Immigration Service, NDLEA amongs other are at every strategic areas of the polling units.

During our correspondent’s coverage of the polling units where elections are being held today at polling unit 015, upper sharia court in Ambursa, polling unit 021,Kardi Service Centre, polling unit 005, Government Day Secondary School, Kalgo, polling unit 009,Wuro Gauri and Badariya Gari, Hirishi Gari, all in Kalgo and Birnin Kebbi Local Government Areas of the state, the security personnel were firmly stationed at various positions at the polling units while voting was going on.

Our reporter also reports that there is heavy security patrol of areas where elections are being held today. Police, Soldiers, DSS amongs other are seeing in their petrol vehicles and military vans going round. Equally, there’s large turnout of voters both women and men in an orderly manner. Also Voting commenced exactly 8:30am without any complaints.
