Atiku visits Kano, Condoles with Gwadabe, Dantata’s Families

The standard bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party in the just conducted February, 25 presidential election Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Kano political stalwart Alhaji Musa Gwadabe who died in the early hours of yesterday at the age of 87 years.

The former vice president who was accompanied on the trip by his political team and his aides had an interaction with the members of the deceased family who thanked him for identifying with them at the hour of their grief.

This is contained in a statement by AbdulRasheed Shehu, special Assistant (Broadcast Media) to Atiku Abubakar on Thursday.

The statement also said, earlier the Wazirin Adamawa had expressed his grief about the shocking demise of the Kano-born political colossus and consoled the family through his official tweeter handle.

He paid a glowing tribute to the deceased political icon describing him as a patriot and a statesman.

In another development, Atiku and his entourage also paid a condolence visit to Alhaji Aminu Dantata who lost his second wife, Hajia Rabi Dantata recently.

He commiserated with the family. And while he eulogized the virtues of Hajia Rabi Dantata, he prayed to Allah to comfort the family and grant the deceased eternal rest.
