Breaking: INEC Rejects PDP’ Kano Caretaker Committee List .

The Independent National Electoral Commission ( INEC) on Wednesday, rejected the list of caretaker committee members submitted by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for it’s Kano chapter, after the party desolved the state executives.

In a reply dated 6th April 2022 sent by INEC to the National chairman of the PDP, draw the attention of the party to a court order which restrict it from accepting any list of interim caretaker committee on the Kano state chapter.

Independent post report that, the PDP announced the dissolution of it’s Kano state executives despite a court order banning it’s action.

Earlier, some top members of the party in Kano demands the dissolution of the excos loyal to the former governor of the state Engineer Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.

INEC in the letter signed by the commission secretary Rose Oriaran-Anthony, urged PDP to take note of the said order.
