The All progress Congress (APC) state working committee has approved the suspension of Hon. Member representing Koko-Besse/ Maiyama federal constituency in Kebbi State from participation of the party activities.
The suspension is sequel to the series of complaints received by the committee and instituted against the member by the members of the party from own local government, Koko-Besse over allegations of Anti-Party activities he engaged, which is likely to embarrass or have adverse effect on the party or being into hatred, contempt, ridicule or disrupt fictionalisation and flouting the rules and regulations, decisions of the party.
However, the suspension letter was signed by the state party chairman in person of Abubakar Muhammad Kana and made it available to newsmen on Thursday in Birnin Kebbi. The suspension approval further stated that, engaging in dishonest practices, thuggery, carrying out other Anti-Party activities which tend to disrupt the peaceful, lawful and efficient organization of the party ; which are inconsistent with the aims and objectives of the party contrary to article 21 (2) (i)(ii)(vi)(vii)(viii) of the APC constitution (2022 as Amended).
Therefore, the state working committee (SWC) of the party, wish to inform the public that, the state working committee approved the suspension of Hon. Shehu Muhammad Koko from participation of any APC activities pending the outcome of the investigation of the complaints.
Furthermore, he is hereby warned to stop parading himself as a member of APC party and not to partake in any activity of the party pending the outcome of the investigation. According to a reliable source said Hon. Shehu Muhammad Koko he is presently the chairman house committee of Airforce and one of the right handman of the Hon. speaker house of Representatives and also strong supporter of president elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
