Buni said the harmony and maturity exhibited by the legislators in the election of the new leadership is both commendable and reassuring.
“This is an indication of a unity of purpose to collectively work for the development of our dear state and the interest of our people,” he said.

“I want to reassure you that my administration will work closely and in harmony with the legislature to defend the interest of our people, provide democratic dividends, and promote democracy in Yobe state,” Buni said.
He charged the assembly to see the executive and Judicial arms of government as partners in progress that are committed to improving the lives of the people of Yobe state.
