Gov. Bagudu front-load document in proof of his petition before election tribunal in Kebbi

Gov. Abubakar Atiku Bagudu have front-loaded documents pleaded in the lists filed before election Petition tribunal sitting in Birnin Kebbi in proved of his petition challenging the victory of senator Muhammadu Adamu Aliero, PDP and INEC before the said tribunal via his counsel.

The front-loading of documents was part of pre-hearing session apply by the petitioners to kick up as prescribed by electoral act.

Counsel to Gov. Bagudu, Barrister Lagalo D. Lagalo said” in Kalgo local government we pleaded 32 forms EC8A1, but only 30 is at their disposal two not available, equally presented 8 forms of EC 8C1. He further submitted forms EC8C1 for eight LGAS that made the entire Kebbi central senatorial district of the state as part of the document pleaded.

He also, front load one form EC8B1 summary results sheet and one form EC8E1 declaration of results form. He then informed the the tribunal that ” All documents listed on pages 28,29, 30,31 and 34 are not available. But will be presented on the next adjourned date, he assured”.

However, still in Kalgo local government “we listed two form EC40G (pu) but only one is available in ward three unit one. He Further submit to the tribunal that as Friday sitting that’s only what is available at their disposal. But assuring tribunal that on the next adjourned date all documents pleaded will be made available to tribunal. Barrister Lagalo assured tribunal and later seek for adjourned”.

The tribunal admitted documents front-loaded and marked as Exhibits AAB1 to AAB 16, AAB17G, AAB 19 and AAB 20 respectively.

Chairman tribunal Honourable Justice Margret Opara said” By the agreement of both counsel’s the petition is hereby adjourned to Monday 15th May 2023 for continuation of pre-hearing session.
