Gov Namadi urges Ministries, MDAs to meet FCDO’s Guidelines

The Jigawa state governor Malam Umar Namadi has urged the relevant Ministries and MDAs to meet the Asks highlighted by the Foreign Commonwealth Development Office (FCDO) in the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the two parties.
The governor dropped the hint through the State Head of Service Muhammad K. Dakaceri during the review meeting of Mutual Accountability framework (MAF) held on Tuesday at state Secretariat Dutse.
He explained that, present administration is committed to attain sustainable development adding that collaboration with FCDO can simplify the process to achieve the target goals.
“Therefore his Excellency Governor and myself will not tolerate low performance from any ministry of MDAs that failed to deliver the needed requirements within the target time”, he said.
The head of service then assured more support and commitiments from the government and commended Foreign Commonwealth Development Office for supporting Jigawa government to move the forward.
The review meeting comprised the participants from health, education, Governance, Social Protection, Agriculture, women affairs sectors, Civil society organisations, media among many other relevant stakeholders.
