Commissioner for Election said the advice became imperative with a view to consolidating on the successes recorded during the previous presidential election and national assembly elections.

“I felt it’s necessary the other sister agencies to feel my presence that there is a commissioner of police on election duty and to appreciate you all on what you did in recent elections and I expect you to do more.

“As we successfully conducted the presidential and national assembly elections, this time around the governorship and state assembly elections is more localised, we have to put in more efforts to see that we do the needful.
