Gubernatorial/assembly elections records impressive voter turnout in Kano

As voting continue in the Gubernatorial and state assembly elections across Kano state, an impressive turnout of voters is recorded in most of the polling units.

Independent post observed that, INEC officials and election materials arrived at the polling units in time and voting started as scheduled by Independent National Electoral Commission.
At about 745 am, electoral officers were on ground the the polling units sorting out materials and getting set for the elections.
Also independent post observed and impressive security arrangements voters waiting patiently to cast their votes.
However, when voting started, some poling units in Gwale Local government witness violence when a particular party tried to block others from voting according to eyewitness.

With the exception of the places where violences are reported, the elections is relatively peaceful so far
