In a move to address pressing issues affecting Gubio Local Government Area, Hon. Mali Bulama Mali Gubio, the Chairman, has convened an emergency security meeting on Monday, August 21st, 2023, which aims to tackle concerns that have been troubling the community.
The emergency security meeting and the various actions taken by Chairman Gubio highlight his dedication to keying into the governor of Borno state Professor Babagana Umara Zulum’s developmental stride and maintaining law and order, fostering development, and improving the well-being of the Gubio L.G.A community.
During the exercise, Hon. Mali Bulama Mali Gubio took decisive action against illegal activities in the area. Two illegal operations involving bear parlours and a brothel were sealed. Shockingly, the authorities discovered the sale of illegally roasted dog meat within the premises.
The crackdown demonstrates the chairman’s commitment to upholding the law and ensuring the welfare of the community.
Under his administration, the chairman laid the foundation for the construction of 20 new shopping duplexes.
