JUST IN: Gov. Nasir, Emir of Yauri, Others holds close door meeting

Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris, emir of Yauri and three Council chairmen from Yauri Emirate, among other top government officials have held an urgent close door meeting at Government House on Tuesday in Birnin Kebbi.

A reliable source, said the emir of Yauri led a delegation of his people to a courtesy visit to governor Nasir Idris where they immediately entered an urgent close door meeting with the governor in connection with the issue of insecurity, mining activities and deteriorated roads from magama junction to Ngaski, Warra and their environs, among other issues bordering people in the said Emirate. Also Source further explain that this issues bordering the emirate call for the urgent meeting and collective efforts to salvage the situation.

The emir found it necessary to inter face with the new administration of governor Nasir Idris in finding solution to the problems. Stressing that the emir of Yauri Dr. Muhammad Zayyanu Abdullahi led the delegation of local council chairmen of Yauri, Ngaski and Shanga among other to a courtesy visit to governor Nasir Idris in government House, Birnin Kebbi. Where the meeting be comes close door between the delegation, the governor and other cabinet members such as deputy Gov, SSG, Commissioner Solid mineral and digital Economy among other government officials.

Before the commencement of the meeting journalist where asked to leave the chamber where the meeting is to be held. After the conclusion of the said meeting which took them about an hour deliberating, journalists waited for briefing but until the emir and his delegation left to Yauri journalist where not called for any briefing on what was been discussed.

It could be recalled that recently, governor Nasir Idris has visited the area when bandits attacks some villages in Ngaski and Shanga where he sympathy and even offer donations of cash and food items to the families of deceased and victims of the affected areas, he assured the emir of Yauri and the entire people of the emirate in ensuring that his administration will do everything humanly possible to tackle the issue of insecurity in the area.

However to attract investors on mining and to collaborate with federal government to get more support on mining including the issue of insecurity.

He also gave assurance of his administration in construction of roads to Ngaski and Warra and its environs. Adding that government have concluded plans to commenced empowerment programmes across the state that will have direct bearing to our people, but most particularly youth and women groups.
