JUST IN: Lamido Barkindo Mustapha Turbans Atiku’s Son Aliyu as Turaki Adamawa

Lamidon Adamawa Alhaji Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Mustapha has turbaned Aliyu Atiku Abubakar as the new Turaki of Adamawa.

The colourful event which was witnessed by thousands of well wishers from within and outside the state, took place at the palace of the Lamido.

The Turaki title is one of the biggest position in the emirate earlier occupied by his father Alhaji Atiku Abubakar who is now the Wazirin Adamawa.

Atiku Abubakar is presently contesting the office of the president of the federal republic of Nigeria in this month election.

Dignitaries at the occasion include the PDP Presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar who is the Wazirin Adamawa, Adamawa state Governor Ahmadu Fintiri who is the chief host, Delta state Governor Dr Ifeanyi Okowa and the PDP vice presidential candidate.

Others are Former Senate President Abubakar Bukola Saraki and traditional rulers among others.
