Kano Executive Council Allocates N400m to ADUST

In its effort to reinvigorate and revive State-owned tertiary institutions of learning, the Kano State Executive Council has approved the release of N400 million to Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology, Wudil for various projects including commencement of 24 new courses at the university.

Other projects to be EXECUTED with the funds include refurbishment of infrastructures and upgrading and procurement of internet facilities for the betterment of both the staff and students of the institution.

The Commissioner Ministry for Higher Education, Dr. Yusuf Kofarmata applauded the governor Abba Kabir Yusuf adding that this effort is in line with the fulfilment of campaign promises made by His Excellency, the Executive Governor Alh. Abba Kabir Yusuf.

It can be recalled that the present administration of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf had paid off all the lingering backlog utility bills, such as that of electricity, fuel among others.

Not long ago, the Governor had also approved the released of millions of Naira for running day-to-day activities at the university.

Dr. Yusuf Ibrahim Kofarmata, thanked His Excellence the amiable Governor, Alh. Abba Kabir Yusuf for prioritizing education in his administration.
“God willing, the state government will continue executing meaningfull projects and programs for the betterment of the good people of Kano”, Kofarmata stated.
