Kano Govt Reiterates Commitment Towards Reviving KANGIS

Kano state government has reiterated commitment towards reviving state Geographic Information System known as KANGIS for effective land management system.

The state commissioner for land and physical planning Alhaji Adamu Aliyu Kibiya made the commitment when he led a delegation of the ministry on a visit to Abuja geographic Information System AGIS .

The commissioner who was accompanied by the ministry’s directors of GIS and ICT, said the visit is aimed at reviving KANGIS which is the bedrock for land management system.

He said, they are at the AGIS office to study thier system with a view to boost the standard of Kangis for a better Kano.
