Kano House Of Assembly Screens Governor Abbas Yusuf’s Commissioner Nominees

The State House of Assembly had Wednesday In it’s plenary session presided over by the Speaker,Rt. Hon. Ismail Jibrin Falgore screened the commissioner nominees transmitted to the House by the Executive Governor.

The screening commenced in the morning hours in a motion moved by the Majority Leader Hon. Lawan Husaini Dala, Member representing Dala Constituency and was seconded by Hon. Muhd Salisu Ibrahim, Member representing Doguwa Constituency .

The House agreed and the Clerk of the House Alhaji Ali Maje was directed to ushered in the commissioner nominees one after the other whereas the Nominees underwent a screening and questions from the Honorable members towards ascertaining their eligibility for the position of Cabinet members in the State.

After completing the Screening the Speaker stated that on Thursday (Today) the House would confirm the Nominees during plenary session and the House was adjourned in a motion moved by the Majority Leader, Hon. Lawan Husaini Dala.
