Kebbi Gov’s wife: I ‘ll Continue to Support Ophans and Vulnerable Children

Wife of the Kebbi State Governor, Hajiya Zainab Nasare Nasir Idris has assured all orphans and vulnerable children in the state that this administration will continue to support them to live better lives and become future leaders of tomorrow.

Hajiya Zainab, stated that when she visited orphanage home located at within the premises of ministry of women Affairs and Social Development and that Remmand home all in Birnin Kebbi. Where she assured orphanage and vulnerable children for her continued support to a better lives and becomes useful to the society.

Her Excellency, further explained that ” I visited you just to know the state of your well-being and also the facility you are living in. I also have passion in assisting children and vulnerables most particularly to sponsors their education, feeding, clothing and always wish to see that orphanage children and vulnerables groups becomes something in society and even becomes leaders of people.

“I want to tell you that you may be orphans but you are not orphans because we are ongoing to serves as your parents and also gurdians to you and we will always provides all what you need in live. Equally I will ensure the present administration under the leadership of Governor Nasir Idris continues to carter for your needs, so that you do not lack of anything that will warrant you feel the impact of your parents presences” she said.

She than said that ” as from now onwards all orphans and vulnerable children in the state should consider the State Governor as their Godfathers. She promised to persuade all the problems of orphanage home and that Remmand home to ensure the state governor gives necessary attention to those problems.

During the visit, Her Excellency, Hajiya Zainab donated food items, first aids kits and among other items to the two homes as part of the her own personal support to the orphanage and vulnerables groups in this two homes.

While Speaking Earlier, officer in charge of the remand home Malam Sanusi gave a brief history about the achievement recorded so per in the area of rehabilitating some of the children, and the difficulties they are facing.

In-charge applauded Her Excellency visit to the centre and the gusture of donation of food items, first aids kits among other things donated, “we are really happy and on behalf of all the staff of the remand home we say thank you may Almighty Allah continue to be with you and may God protect you and the entire family.

The governor’s wife was accompanied by wives of state assembly members and some top government officials such as permanent Secretary ministry of women Affairs and social Development, Hajiya Aisha Muhammadu Mai-kurata among other.
