Kebbi PDP drags INEC, Gov-elect, Deputy Gov-elect, APC to Election Tribunal

Peoples Democratic party (PDP) and its Gubernatorial candidate Gen. Aminu Bande Rtd have filed a petition of 722 pages against Independent Electoral commission (INEC), Gov-elect Dr. Nasir Idris, Deputy Gov-elect Umar Abubakar and All Progress Congress (APC) to election tribunal challenging their victory on three grounds.

This was disclosed by the legal adviser of Peoples Democratic party PDP Kebbi State chapter, Barrister Nura Bello shortly after he and his team of lawyers concluded filing their petition before the election Petition tribunal sitting in Birnin Kebbi the state capital.

He said the grounds are three upon which we filed the said petition are eligibility of the candidates, substantial noncompliance with the provisions of the electoral act, and constitution and than malpractices and over voting in the cause of the election.

He further expressed that this are the three grounds upon which we are challenging this election.
