Kebbi tribunal Orders Substituted Means of Service to Hon. Salisu Koko, PDP

Kebbi State election Petition tribunal sitting in Birnin Kebbi under the chairmanship of Honourable Justice Margret Opara have granted an exparte application seeking for an order of substituted means of service to Hon. Salisu Garba Koko and his party PDP as second and third respondents to the said Hon. Salisu Garba Koko that can’t be seen and service with a copy of petition and all other processes filed by Shehu Muhammad Bello Koko who is challenging the victory of Hon. Salisu Garba Koko in a petition with suit marked number EFT/BK/ HR/ 6/ 2023.

The order was granted following a motion filed by the petitioners/ Applicants Counsel Hussaini Zakariya SAN, seeking for an order of the tribunal directing substituted means of service to the second and third respondents.

The tribunal give the order upon an exparte motion and the order read as follows: “that the petition and all other processes filed by the petitioners/ Applicants to be served on the second respondent by substituted means to that; by posting the petition and all other processes filed by the petitioners/Applicants at the third respondent (PDP) office located at emir Haruna Road, Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State”.

Equally, by posting the petition and all other processes at a complex building of old Kebbi State high court of justice where the election Petition tribunal is sitting currently.

The said order was signed by the tribunal Secretary Zubairu Nuhu and made it available to newsmen in Birnin Kebbi, the state capital.
