We also wish to congratulate you for the success so far in office: the appointments of Chief of Staff and a deputy chief of staff, Secretary General of the Federation SGF and several other significant ones.
In less than 30 days after President Bola Tinubu’s inauguration, the shape and colour of the new administration is beginning to form. The appointments of these key personnel and the successful opening of the chamber of the 10th National Assembly, which has seen the emergence of the senate president, deputy president, speaker and deputy speaker of the house of representatives as well as the opening of the chamber, is ominous of great things to follow.

The association of Rescue APC Northwest group seeks to clarify and debunk the agitations against the person and character of Alhaji Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, Ex-governor of Jigawa State (2015-2023), who has been our pillar before, during and after the elections which brought our President, HE Bola Ahmed Tinubu into power
Alhaji Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, has been a conspicuous supporter of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu from the onset of the declaration of intent, when he addressed the Muslim Ullamas from the Northwestern Nigeria om Kano State. It is worthy of note that he dropped his presidential ambition for a southern president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, whom he supported strongly. This is published in the Daily Post of January 3rd, 2023. Also, Jigawa State successfully delivered Northwest- based on the support and sponsorship of all groups which campaigned massively. The financial contributions of Alhaji Mohammed Badaru Abubakar towards all programs of campaigns in Jigawa state yielded results as one among 2 state only that APC won in the entire Nothwest states in the presidential election of 2023 Thus, are the ground work and commitment of him in the Northwest towards the manifestation and emergence of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the president of the Nigeria was not in vain.
The Rescue APC Northwest Group is solidly behind Alhaji Mohammed Badaru Abubakar and hereby consent to his consideration been that he is one among the critical stakeholders of the Northwest as a mark of acknowledgement of his hard work. This request is further hinged on the fact that Alhaji Mohammed Badaru Abubakar is a man of great and noble achievements and track record in Jigawa state. Notably, he was:
The 4th democratically elected governor of Jigawa state who was re-elected as governor having polled a total of 810,933 votes.
A governor who focused on the welfare, social uplift and viability and economic worth.
One governor who completed projects initiated by his predecessor irrespective of party difference. And as a result, Jigawa state is not littered with ‘white elephant projects under him.
Shrewd and prudent, thereby honoured by WALCOT LTD in 2019 with a distinguished honourary patron award for his substantiative and outstanding services and contributions to the growth of agriculture in the state, which was the largest exporter of Sesame seeds in Nigeria with 580,000MT per annum. Among other numerous and bold achievements. Great were his works as a compilation was published on The Authority Newspaper in February 25th 2021.
Alhaji Mohammed Badaru Abubakar cried out against the hardship faced by his people as a result of the cash crunch caused by the Central Bank of Nigeria’s (CBN) policy. The Rescue APC Northwest Group is hereby that Badaru be considered for his track records in the past eight years in office, to take up significant role in this government.
We stand against any personal sentiment, bitterness and jealousy born out of calumny and regret; these are all ploys to denigrate him for his refusal to join the joneses against the person of HE Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The group aspires to vehemently speak against any form of blackmail or plot against Alhaji Badaru to enable him to continue to serve and consolidate the plans of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and for the good of the Northwest which will in turn affect Nigeria as a whole positively.
