Nigeria @63 : Support Youths to save Nigeria from collapse – group tells govt

A group of patriotic citizens under platform of Adolescent Education and Empowerment Initiative (AEEI) has called on government at various levels to invest more on Youths for better future of the country.

The call was contained in a statement signed by the coordinator of AEEI, Hajiya Nafisa Halliru to mark 63 years anniversary of Nigeria’s Independent, and made it available to news men in Dutse the state capital of Jigawa.

The statement, also called on Nigerians Youths to stay focused, energetic and hard-working despite the challenges bedeviling the country.

According to the statement that, described Youths as backbone to any Society said, Youths have a vital roles to play to address the challenges and to save the nation from collapse.

“But despite the future of any Society is relying on its teeming Youth, on other hand government have the responsibility of supporting them with all necessary skills and acquisition for them to remain productive”, she said.

Therefore the statement called on government to support Youths through establishment of more acquisition centres that provide skills for daily demand as not everyone can afford or meant to be in the University.

Hajiya Nafisa added that, Nigerian youths are willing to contribute their quoters to nation building if given the opportunity to participate.

She then commended present administration in Jigawa state for it’s effort to repair fifteen abondon skills acquisition centres as well as partnering with ITF for training Jigawa youth to remain Independent and self-reliance citizens.
