President Buhari congratulates Buni over his re-election

President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated Gov Mai Mala Buni of Yobe for his recent re-election as the governor of the state.

This is contained in a statement by Buni’s Director-General Press and Media Affairs Alhaji Mamman Mohammed in Damaturu.

Mohammed said “ His Excellency Gov Mai Mala Buni CON, today shared his Certificate of Return with President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR, at the Aso Rock Villa.

“ President Buhari wished the governor a successful tenure with more dividends of democracy to the people.

“ The President lauded Governor Buni for the excellent performance in the first term which made the people of Yobe state to vote him back for another term of office.

“I was impressed with the projects you executed which l inaugurated during my visit to Yobe state early this year,” he said.

Buhari expressed confidence in the Governor performing better in his second term of office and prayed for his success.
