Ramadan: El Zakzaky extends food distribution to Christians Orphans, needy.

As part of effort towards promoting peace and harmony among different faith base organization in northern Nigeria.

Sheikh Ibrahim Yakub El Zazzaky the national president of Islamic movement of Nigeria has distributed over 50 bags of food stuffs to Christian widows, orphans and other needy at various communities in southern part of kaduna.

This, he said, is to assist them with food to eat and to strengthen them towards embarking on cealess prayers for almighty God to bring an end to the insecurity challenged bedevilling peace stability in the country.

Our reporter in Kaduna, said Zakzaky explained that, the gesture is part of his annual food distribution to millions of Nigerians that are facing increasing high cost of food stuff in the country.

The food distribution which started since last weekend to many Muslims communities has now been extended to Christian communities in the southern part of the state which is aimed at helping the needy on a critical situation .

He said the gesture will continue, as many more food stuffs would be distributed to both Muslims and Christians in this holy month of Ramadan

Receiving the food items at his residence, Pastor Yohanna buru, the general overseer of Christ evangelical and life intervention ministry expressed delight and thanks sheick Ibrahim El Zazzaky for the kind gesture of remembering the poor Christian amids of high cost of food stuffs in the markets.

He said, most Christians are about to finish their 40 days fasting which they are going to used it for the ester celebrations

According to him this is not the first time the sheick is sending food items to many Christians in the southern part of the country with the aims of strengthening peaceful coexistence between Christians and Muslims relationship in the region.

Buru said, the Ramadan food distribution would be extended to kaduna journalists with the aims of strengthening them towards practicing their Nobel profession
