Special Sallah Event:, Kano governor elect vows to revive fight against thuggery and drugs addiction

The Governor-elect of Kano State, Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf, has promised to prioritize the empowerment of youths and women during his tenure.

Abba Kabir Yusuf also announced his plans to reopen entrepreneurship institutes that were neglected by the outgoing administration, and provide modern learning materials for skills training.

Yusuf made the statements while speaking to journalists after addressing mammoth crowd of supporters at a social Sallah celebration at the resident of the National leader of Kwankwasiyya in Kano on Monday.

The governor elect also bowed to address issues of drug addiction and thuggery through entrepreneurship training and empowerment, with the goal of making youths self-reliant and job providers.

He also reiterated commitment to implement various campaign promises related to healthcare, education, water supply, agriculture, security, and human development.

He then assured Kano people of his determination to take aggressive measures against thuggery and drug addiction in order to clean the society of these menaces.

The Sallah event was attended by the NNPP national leader Engineer Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, as well as other Party bigwigs.
