Leadership of Kano Civil Society Forum (KCSF) has dismissed report by some section of online media that the forum is facing threat of extinction and disintegration due to the inability of the Forum to conduct elections

In a statement by it’s president Amb. Ibrahim Waiya on Friday evening, said there is no any crises whatsoever with regards to the leadership of the forum and the members

The President also faulted those insinuating that, the acting leadership has so far spent over nine years, in acting capacity, explaining that it is not up to five years at the present, and those years were actually spent in the transformation of the Forum, such as registration with CAC, election of the Board of Trustees members for the first time since the establishment of the Forum, membership revalidation exercise, to have an authentic financial members of the Forum and the rest

KCSF President also accuses the people behind the baseless statement geared towards creating unnecessary tension, at the time the Forum is getting prepared for the election of it’s Executives in the coming weeks.

In the statement, Amb. Ibrahim Waiya, said they suspect some people hired by some Anti Forum forces to create crises before the election, noting that, there is no any crisis in the forum except, as the Forum is very united, and relates with all the registered members with mutual respect
The President reiterated the position of the Forum that, there would not give any room to any unregistered and some proxies to distract the focus of the Forum, no matter the loud of their noise.
