Sports philanthropist , Moses Ted Andishu has called for mass investment in sports in the bid to better the cause of humanity.

Moses, who is the CEO, FreIvan Services , UK said aside private and commercial sports investments , social investments in sports is cardinal towards advancing the upliftment of societies. .

Andishu, speaking as the Guest of honour at the just concluded WO Sports parents vs coaches annual football match in London note that, social improvements in societies could be delivered on the platform of social investments through sports .He added that sports investments has climbed the zenith of global economy, creating the need to fill the gap with quality human resources.

According to him, filling the gap with quality human resources is not solely reliant on the quality of sports technocrats, stressing that parents also have a major role to play in ensuring this is achieved.

He applauded parents who have continued to support their wards to engage in sports, further calling for more support from parents, urging for their continuous strive to ensure that the sports sector attains it full potentials in the sphere of global affairs .

Andishu who made the presentation of trophy at the event said he would continue to support programmes that would enrich the youths sports sector at all stages.Our correspondent reports that WO Sport is a sister club to West Ham football club.

Mr Moses Andishu is the patron and official sponsor of WO Sports.Wale Ojelabi, WO sports conglomerate was funded in 2015 with the aim to promote healthy living through the combination of sport, nutrition and diet.

He however lamented that parents in most African countries were yet to awaken to the economic importance of sports, calling for advocacy and awareness campaigns to help mobilize , refine and utilize the abundant natural sports talents existing enmasse on the continent
