Gov. Nasir swear-in 26 Newly appointed Commissioners in Kebbi

The Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris has sworn-in twenty six newly appointed Commissioners to serve in his government as state executive council members of the state.

The swearing-in ceremony took place at presidential lodge on Friday 18th August, in Birnin Kebbi, the state capital. Oath of allegiance and Oath of office was administered by Acting Chief Judge Honourable Justice Umar Abubakar to the twenty six appointed Commissioners.

In his remark, Gov. Nasir Idris urged the twenty six appointed and swear-in Commissioners to ensure that the confidence reposed on them and the their past experience is been used to bring positive chance and rapid development to the state.

He also ordered them to immediately report to their respective offices to commence their official duty and equally immediately there will be a first executive council meeting to be hold with the state Governor as their first official assignment as newly swear in commissioners.

He then congratulated all of them and wish them well and success in discharging your statutory duties as Commissioners of his government.

The commissioner of Finance, Abubakar Muhammad Birnin Kebbi, who speak on behalf of all the newly swear in commissioners, thanked and appreciates the state governor Dr. Nasir Idris for finding them worthy to serve in his government as members of the state executive council.

He assured the governor and entire people of the state that insha Allah they will do everything humanly possible to discharge our statutory responsibility reposed on us. He however said ” we will put in our past experience to being positive and rapid changes and development to the people and government of the state, he explained”.

The newly swear-in commissioners and their portifolio are: Abubakar Muhammad Birnin Kebbi, Commissioners ministry of Finance, Abubakar Umar Dustin-mari, commissioner ministry for local government and chieftaincy Affairs, Dr. Abba Sani Kalgo, commissioner ministry of Budget and Economic planning, Yunusa Musa Ismail, Commissioner ministry of Health, Halidu Muhammad Jarkuka, Commissioner ministry for Humanitarian Affairs and Empowerment, Ibrahim M. Muhammad Sakaba, commissioner ministry of Digital Economy and then Yabuku Ahmed, Commissioner ministry of Information and culture.

Other were: Barrister Junaidu Bello Marshall, Commissioner ministry of Justice, Samail Yakubu Augie, Commissioner ministry of Home Affairs and internal Security, Architect Muhammad Sani Aliyu, Commissioner ministry of Religious Affairs, Zayyanu Umar Aliero, Commissioner Special Duties, Auwal Manu Dogondaji, Commissioner ministry of Establishment Trading and Pensions, Abdullahi Umar Faruk Muslim, Commissioner ministry of Works, Isah Abubakar Tugga, Commissioner ministry of Higher Education, Nura Bala Fingilla, Commissioner ministry of Youth and Sports Development, Muhammad Dangi Juli, Commissioner ministry of Lands and Housing and Kabiru Usman Al-laramma, Animals and Husbandry.

Equally, Haliru Muhammad Wasagu, Commissioner ministry of Solid minerals Development and mining, Shehu Mu’azu, Commissioner ministry of Agriculture, Hayatudeen Bawa Jega, Commissioner ministry of Physical planning and Urban Development, Musa Tungulawa, Commissioner ministry of Environment, Bello Abdullahi Kaoje, Commissioner ministry of Water Resources, Garba Salisu Takware, Commissioner ministry of Rural and Community Development and Halima Hassan Kamba, Commissioner ministry of Women Affairs and social Development.

Also, Dr. Halima Muhammad Baende, Commissioner ministry of Basic and Secondary Education and then Usman Abubakar Ladan, Commissioner ministry of Commerce.
