Sen. Sani Musa Represents Senate President at Nigeria Infrastructure Conference 2026 and Presided over Senate Committee on Finance
Distinguished Senator Mohammed Sani Musa, CON, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Finance, represented the President of the Senate, His Excellency Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio, GCON, at the Nigeria Infrastructure Conference (INFRACON 2026).
The conference, hosted by the Nigeria Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA), is taking place from July 14 to 15, 2026, at the Afreximbank African Trade Centre (AATC) Towers in Abuja.
The two-day conference has brought together senior government officials, financial leaders, multilateral development partners, investors, and private sector executives to explore innovative financing models and practical strategies for transforming Nigeria’s infrastructure landscape.
On behalf of the Senate President, Senator Sani Musa delivered a keynote address, reaffirming the commitment of the 10th National Assembly to enacting legislative frameworks that promote infrastructure financing, strengthen public-private partnerships, and create an enabling environment for sustainable economic growth and national development.
He further emphasized that robust infrastructure remains the backbone of economic prosperity, job creation, industrialisation, and improved quality of life for Nigerians, while calling for stronger collaboration between the public and private sectors to bridge the nation’s infrastructure deficit.
The ranking Senator, later presided over the Senate Committee on Finance, in continuation of the Committee’s IGR Investigative hearing.
