Kano Gov’t Committed To Journalists Welfare, Capacity Building–Waiya
Kano state government has Reiterated the importance of capacity building for online media practitioners, expressing Readiness for support and partnership.
Commissioner of information and internal affairs Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya while speaking at a one day training workshop organized by Kano online media Chapel on Tuesday.
Comrade Abdullahi Waiya, said the government, through the Ministry of Information, would continue to support the chapel to guarantee its sustainability.
He reiterated the state’s commitment to strengthening online journalism as a credible source of information through capacity building.
He urged the online media editors and publishers to always adhere to journalism ethics and professionalism.
